Class 2 News Letter Summer Term 2021
Welcome back after our Easter Holidays!
We are looking forward to starting a new topic called Street Detective. We will be investigating how our local area has changed over time. We are starting our learning in English looking at a book by Enid Blyton called the Faraway Tree. We will collect lots of new vocabualry and ideas from the book, connect our learning about punctuation and grammar to it to enable us to create our own pieces of writing. Our maths programme will continue, using the National Curriculum as our guide and making sure we understand all the objectives needed for each age group. In science this term, year 3 will be studying Plants and year 2 will be going to Forest School. This will swap next half term.

Internet Safety Week 2021
This week marks internet safety week. Given the current circumstances we have put together a video for each key stage outlining some key tips for E-Safety, presented by Mr Acaster, and two hyperlinks.
