We are looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant to primarily support the teaching and learning in a mixed year 2/3 class. Experience in other year groups will also be beneficial and there may be flexibility in which class you work in.

We are looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant with SEND responsibilities to support a child in year 2 from September. The role will include working closely with a child that requires support to access the classroom provision and meet their individual care and learning needs. This will include following the school intimate care policy to ensure all medical and intimate care procedures are met.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, hardworking individual. The candidate should be committed to delivering high standards, building relationships with children, colleagues and parents, work well as a team and have a good understanding of SEND.
You will be fully supported to fulfil this role. Relevant training will be provided and you will receive support from the leadership team within school to continue to develop. This is a great opportunity for someone to work in a supportive, caring and hard working school.
