North Star and Red Kite Teaching Alliance
North Star is a collaboration of primary schools across North Yorkshire. We were designated in the Spring of 2014 and are proud to support schools throughout the region and to provide high-quality initial teacher training through our successful School Direct programme.
From September 2021 we are delighted to be working in partnership with Red Kite Teacher Training, offering a range of exciting new Primary School Direct courses, leading QTS with PGCE.
Our vision for Teacher Training - Train where you live
Training with us is designed to be simple. Together, North Star and Red Kite are bringing teacher training to you. We’ll find the right school for you from our many schools across the partnership. You will learn from an expert team of experienced teachers, mentors and head teachers. You will also be able to choose one of our CPD training venues nearest to where you live.
