Class 4
Hello, my name is Miss Chung. I am the maternity cover for class 4 (Year 6). I am a newly qualified teacher who is motivated and committed to helping my pupils achieve the best they can. Having had vast amounts of experience across the different year groups, it has provided with a wealth of knowledge regarding the progression from reception all the way to Year 6.
In my own time I like to explore new places and new restaurants. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.

Hello, my name is Mrs Waller and I teach Class 4 (Year 6) at South Kilvington Primary Academy. I joined South Kilvington in September 2022, having moved from working in North Tyneside. I have experience of working across the whole primary age range and thoroughly enjoy the challenges and differences that come within each key stage. I do especially love teaching in Year 6 as we get to study topics at a greater depth using a range of high quality resources to complete research and answer questions.
I have extremely high expectations of myself, my colleagues and the children I teach as I truly want all children to achieve and be the best they can be. In addition, I adopt a growth mindset within my practice and always remind children that ‘if you can’t do something now, it just means you can’t do something yet’. I always utilise positive praise and encourage children to feel proud of the pieces they produce.
I live in the Yorkshire Dales with my husband, our little girl and dog, which definitely keeps us busy. Outside of school, I enjoy going for walks and spending time with friends and family.
